Taiwanese American artist James Jean has created a special edition sculpture that honors another Impressionist one, Edgar Degas’ Little Dancer of Fourteen Years.

His 2008 painting titled Maze‘s principal character is brought to life in a same-titled sculpture, personifying every detail of her figure. The patinated bronze figure is accompanied by a stick and maze that are made of gold plated stainless steel.

Maze measures 30cm by 16.5cm, comes in an edition of 25, and costs €8175 EUR (approx. $9269 USD). Visit Avant Arte’s official website to register for its release.
